Yesterday, September 5, on the official website of FC Fakel Voronezh, the club’s management announced the resignation of the head coach, who headed the “flammable” four months ago.
According to the publication “Championship”, Vadim Evseev intended to continue working with the club. The head coach found out about his dismissal unexpectedly – he received a phone call and was informed of his resignation.
By the way, the honorary president of the RFU, Vyacheslav Koloskov, called Evseev’s dismissal premature. In an interview with a Sovetsky Sport correspondent, he noted that, according to his forecast, the promising coach had to stay in Voronezh for another 3-4 rounds.
– His team played well, they showed nice football. I thought that even round 3-4 he had to prove himself. But the Voronezh authorities know better, because I’m not close to the team, it’s hard for me to judge what’s really going on there. And yet, this dismissal was a surprise for me, – said Vyacheslav Koloskov.
Recall that under the leadership of Vadim Evseev, Fakel played 17 matches, scoring seven victories, but at the same time suffered nine defeats and one draw. In seven meetings of the MIR RPL, the “flammable” won only one victory over Pari NN (2: 0) and in the Russian Cup over CSKA (2: 0). The team is currently 15th in the standings with four points.
Sport Express reported that Fakel is now considering two specialists for the vacant position: Igor Cherevchenko, who heads the Istiklol club from Tajikistan, and Vadim Garanin from the Kaliningrad Baltika-BFU.
The post published on the club’s official website states that the doors of the club will always be open for Vadim Evseev. As a guest?
