The main obstacle to providing financial assistance to charitable foundations and organizations, the Russians consider the lack of cash income, showed a study by VCIOM, published on the international day of charity on September 5. This was stated by almost half of the respondents (49%). Every third respondent prefers to help only those whom he knows personally (31%). According to the survey, over the past year, more than half of the respondents helped with things, money or provided services to relatives, friends and acquaintances. And only a third provided assistance to foundations. Most often, Russians are ready to allocate money to children and animals. Charitable foundations in Russia are trusted to some extent by 30% of respondents.
