European Space Telescope Euclid launched into orbit

Elon Musk’s SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket launched the European Space Agency’s (ESA) Euclid telescope into orbit, reported on the organization’s Twitter.
“Thank you for the SpaceX Falcon 9 flight. Euclid has already been launched into space,” the message says.
The launch was made from the US Army base at Cape Canaveral (Florida).
According to information on the ESA website, Euclid will head towards the L2 Lagrange point, which is located on the opposite side of the sun at a distance of 1.5 million km from the earth, which is about four times the distance from the earth to the moon.
The cost of the observatory is about 1 billion euros, it is designed to provide scientists with new information about dark matter and dark energy.
