EU sends 900 million euro worth of shells to Ukraine since April

Since April, EU countries have sent shells worth 900 million euros to Ukraine, said Josep Borrell, head of the EU foreign policy service.
He noted that the EU received requests from countries for compensation for the supply of shells to Kyiv for 900 million euros. “This is the first part of our plan to supply ammunition from existing stocks, by the end of July we will sign contracts with the industry for the joint purchase of new ammunition, organized by the European Defense Agency,” told Borrell at a meeting of NATO defense ministers (TASS quote).
