CNN: US government agencies subjected to cyberattack

Several US federal government agencies have been affected by the hack. This was announced on Thursday, June 15, by informed sources.
According to the interlocutors of the CNN channel, the attack was carried out using a vulnerability in “widely used software.”
Eric Goldstein, Executive Assistant to the Director of the Infrastructure and Cyber Security Agency (CISA), said that the structure provides support to government agencies that have been subjected to a cyber attack.
Information about the scale of the attack and the amount of damage caused is not given.
US authorities have previously accused Russia of organizing cyberattacks on its digital infrastructure. Moscow denied allegations of involvement in hacking activities.
