The EU summit failed to approve a decision on Russia’s frozen assets
The heads of the European Union member states during the summit were unable to agree on the future fate of Russia’s frozen assets, according to the final document of the meeting.
“The leaders of the EU countries were unable to approve a decision on Russia’s frozen assets. Ministers were instructed to continue working on this issue,” the document says.
On the sidelines of the summit, there were also calls for an early start to work on the 14th package of sanctions against Russia.
