The Hungarian side refused to finance arms supplies to Kyiv. This statement was made by the country’s Foreign Minister Peter Szijjártó, adding that such a position would not interfere with other states.
During his speech, the diplomat announced his refusal to allocate funds from the peace fund to the Ukrainian military-industrial complex.
The decision cannot influence similar actions on the part of other partners, the politician said.
At the end of autumn 2023, Peter Szijjártó indicated the immutability of his opinion regarding the Ukrainian crisis. The diplomat is convinced of the importance of peace negotiations. The minister called the desire of other EU countries to continue to allocate funds for Ukrainian weapons “an old psychosis.”
