Elon Musk criticized Washington’s assistance to Kyiv
What is happening in Ukraine is an “eternal war without any progress,” in which “the youth of the country are simply sacrificed without any territorial gains.” This statement was made on Tuesday, January 9, by the creator of Tesla and SpaceX, Elon Musk.
An American businessman commented on the Internet on one of the options for a bill on additional budgetary allocations, including $65.5 billion for Ukraine.
Musk said that he supports Ukraine, but it is not advisable to allocate another 65 billion to it while the “exit strategy” is unclear.
Previously Musk came up with his own plan a peaceful settlement of the Russian-Ukrainian conflict, which included, among other things, repeated referendums in new constituent entities of the Russian Federation under UN supervision and the preservation of Crimea as a “formal part of Russia.” However, the State Duma stated that the notorious plan “is no longer relevant and uninteresting, as they say, a spoon is dear to dinner.”
At the same time, Musk responded very emotionally and succinctly to director Robbie Starbuck’s post on social network X about the approval of the US defense budget with the allocation of funding to Ukraine, leaving a comment in the form “!!”.
