Callas promised to continue demolishing Soviet monuments in Estonia
The head of the Estonian government, Kaja Kallas, said that the country needs to continue work on dismantling monuments from the USSR era.
According to the politician, Estonia even previously passed a corresponding law, but it is currently not in force.
“This law was adopted by the Riigikogu (Estonian Parliament – editor’s note), but sent for revision. We in the coalition have an agreement that it needs to be changed, and we must continue to work,” Kallas said.
