Erdogan spoke about shaky trust in the European Union

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said Ankara’s trust in the European Union has been shaken due to the EU’s “strange and inconsistent” role in international politics.
The European Union, according to Erdogan, took Israel’s side in the conflict in the Middle East and “is outside the diplomatic processes in the Russian-Ukrainian conflict.”
The European Union has been waiting for an answer to the question about the possibility of Turkey joining the union for about 60 years, and Ankara “does not expect anything” in this matter, Erdogan said.
