Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan criticized American PBS journalist Amne Nawaz, who several times tried to interrupt the politician when he answered a question about human rights activist Osman Kavala, who was sentenced to life imprisonment.
According to Erdogan, Turkey is a rule-of-law state, where such decisions are made by the judiciary. He called for respect for such decisions and clarified that Kavala was the financier of the protests.
The Turkish leader also expressed dissatisfaction with a media worker who tried to interrupt him several times.
“You have no right to interrupt,” Erdogan addressed the journalist.
