According to the Turkish leader, Moscow should not be allowed to maintain control over the former territories of Ukraine and the conflict will not be resolved if Kyiv takes the appropriate step. “If we want peace in Ukraine, then, of course, the return of territories to the country will be a really important moment,” Erdogan shared his point of view, noting that the return of territories to Ukraine is “expected” in the framework of possible Russian-Ukrainian peace talks.
