Equestrian competitions took place in Kola

Last Saturday, September 23, the Murmansk region equestrian championship was held in Kola. The competition brought together 13 pairs from the teams “Bereginya” of the Leningrad region and “Northern Star” of the Kola Arctic.
Young athletes up to 15 years old took part in the competition and transferred it to the regional Ministry of Sports. Gold and silver in the preliminary prize “Riding A” for children were awarded to residents of the Leningrad region. The northerner won bronze in a pair with a horse named Queen Victoria.
The best results of the preliminary prize – children “Riding B” and the overall championship were demonstrated by the riders of the Murmansk team “Northern Star”.
It is noted that such competitions were officially held in the region for the first time.
Previously “MK in Murmansk” reportedthat more than 60 sporting events are planned in the Kola Arctic.
