Epic Jewelery presented an art project with Olga Tobreluts – Kommersant

The jewelry brand Epic Jewelery has entered into a new creative art union. This time – with the star of Russian and world contemporary art – Olga Tobreluts. The artist is known for her voluminous lenticular prints—3D images that gain depth and fluidity when changing perspective. The limited edition pendants are inspired by the iconic spiked hearts featured in Tobreluts’ paintings, lenticular prints and 3D sculptures. Epic jewelers retained the spiked texture, but changed the size and proportions. The result of two months of work was a limited edition of ten heart pendants made of purple anodized titanium with diamonds fixed between the studs. On the reverse side is the autograph of Olga Tobreluts. “This is the heart from which rays of love, compassion and patience emanate. This is a symbol of the human soul, which is transformed through self-knowledge. The symbol of the heart in all centuries has meant not only religious devotion, but also devotion to loved ones and one’s family,” Tobreluts commented on the philosophical meaning of her work.
