The Armed Forces of Ukraine (APU) made an unsuccessful attempt at night landing near Energodar, informed head of the city administration Alexander Volga to Interfax.
“There was another attempt to break through the landing from Nikopol in the direction of Kamenka-Dneprovskaya. The blow was successfully repelled,” he said. In the evening, the Ukrainian military attacked the substation “Luch, the power supply to Energodar has been cut off,” he added.

The next attempt to land troops by the Ukrainian side has been undertaken On September 3, then, according to the Russian Ministry of Defense, the Armed Forces of Ukraine intended to seize the ZNPP. For this, 250 people and more than 40 boats and boats were involved, but they were stopped by Russian aircraft.
On September 6, the IAEA published a report on the results of the mission to the ZNPP. The organization called for an end to attacks on the station and the establishment of a safe zone around it. At the same time, experts did not specify who was shelling the object. The report also says that several events have been recorded at the ZNPP since the spring that violate the principles of nuclear safety, and that members of the delegation themselves witnessed the shelling.
The next day, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that the IAEA report on the situation at the Zaporizhzhya nuclear power plant can be trusted, despite the fact that the nuclear agency is under pressure from the US and the EU. At the same time, he noted that there is no Russian military equipment on the territory of the ZNPP, which the IAEA proposes to remove. Equipment, including those operating as part of counter-battery combat, is located outside the station’s perimeter, Putin concluded.
