Energia basketball players will start the new season of the Super League

On October 11, the basketball players of Ivanovo “Energia” will start in the new season of the Russian Championship among women’s Super League teams. The black-and-orange will spend the first part of the championship on the road, where they will play in 2 matches against rivals from the Rostov region. First, the team from Ivanovo will visit Peresvet-SFU, and a few days later they will play against Platov.
The Tigers had a very fruitful off-season, resuming training at the end of July. The Ivanovo team spent 2 weeks at the southern training camp, laying down physical conditions for the upcoming 2023-2024 season. At the end of August – beginning of September, “Energia” took part in the pre-season Litvinov Cup, where it took 4th place. The “tigresses” managed to fly out of the Russian Cup, losing their place in the main round to their rivals from Vladimir.
Let us remind you that the regular championship match among women’s Super League teams between Peresvet-SFU and Energia from Ivanovo will take place on October 11. The meeting is scheduled to start at 19:00 Moscow time.
