Employees of the regional Federal Penitentiary Service took gold at the Dynamo kettlebell lifting championship

Teams from seven law enforcement agencies of the Smolensk region took part in the weight lifting competition for the prizes of the Dynamo society. The UFSIN Team included 8 athletes.
The competition was held in classical double-event, clean and jerk with a weight of 24 kg, in six weight categories in individual and team competitions. In the overall standings, the team from the regional Federal Penitentiary Service became the winner of the competition.
Also, employees of the penitentiary system won prizes in the individual championship. In the weight category up to 68 kg, silver was won by Dmitry Gorelenkov, a representative of correctional colony No. 6. Also, silver medals were won by employee of the penal inspection Dmitry Oshurkov (weight category up to 78 kg) and Dmitry Onoprienko (weight category over 95 kg) from pre-trial detention center No. 2.
The “golden” champions in the individual competition were Igor Shtapurenko, from the Vyazma pre-trial detention center, and Maxim Egorov from the Administration in the weight categories up to 63 kg and 95 kg, respectively.
