Employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations for the first time took part in the Championship of the Pskov region in cross-country skiing. This was reported to “MK in Pskov” in the press service of the regional department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia.
Competitions were held on February 1 in the city of Velikiye Luki. The regional department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia was represented by three teams with a total of 17 people. The race was free running, men competed in a 5 km run, and women in a 3 km run.
In the team standings, the 3rd place was taken by the team of the Department of Supervisory Activities and Preventive Work, the second place was taken by the team of the second PSO of the city of Velikiye Luki. The victory was won by the team of the first PSO Pskov. Also, the best athletes received awards for success in the individual competition.
Based on the results of the competition, it is planned to form a team that will represent the Main Directorate of the Russian Emergencies Ministry for the Pskov Region from February 15 to 17 at the first stage of the Spartakiad of the Russian Emergencies Ministry among the Main Directorates of the Russian Emergencies Ministry of the North-Western Federal District in cross-country skiing in Arkhangelsk.
