Employees of the Kalmyk Ministry of Emergency Situations won second place in the competition among the main departments of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in the Southern Federal District.
In Sevastopol, on the territory of the “Sport for All” complex, representatives of Sevastopol, Astrakhan, Volgograd, Rostov regions, Krasnodar Territory, the Republics of Crimea, Adygea and Kalmykia met at the tennis tables in a sports confrontation.
Athletes competed for the title of champion in individual competitions in two age categories and a team championship. In total, 8 teams of 2 participants each took part in the competition.
In the team championship, representatives of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Kalmykia took silver. In the individual competition in the age group over 41 years old, Valery Khechiev, chief of the guard of fire and rescue unit No. 6, took second place.
