Embassy: Russian citizens in Haiti have not yet asked for help
A representative of the Russian Embassy in Venezuela, Haiti and the Dominican Republic told reporters that Russian citizens have not yet turned to diplomats for help in connection with the unrest that has engulfed Port-au-Prince.
At the same time, he urged Russians in Haiti to be careful.
“Russian citizens living or staying in Haiti should take reasonable precautions against the backdrop of unrest in the capital of the country, Port-au-Prince,” the diplomat said.
