The Croatian Embassy in the Russian Federation will suspend the acceptance of applications for tourist visas from May 1, according to the website of the VFS Global visa center.
Visa applications will not be accepted until further notice to this effect. The embassy does not give any exact dates.
On January 1, 2023, Croatia officially joined the Schengen area. At the beginning of the year, it was reported that Russians wishing to visit Europe were advised not to apply for a Schengen visa to Croatia.
National visas with unexpired validity are still valid for entry into the country.
