Elon Musk successfully avoided a subpoena

Four couriers were unable to find billionaire Elon Musk to serve him a subpoena. The people were hired by the businessman’s former common-law wife, singer Grimes. She is currently suing Musk for custody of their three children. The hunt for the billionaire was reported by Insider.

According to journalists, from October 13 to 20, couriers visited 12 places where Musk could be, including the SpaceX cosmodrome, the Tesla plant and the office of company X, but could not find him anywhere. One of the hired people even visited the stables that belong to the businessman, but to no avail. Another courier tracked the flights of the billionaire’s private jets, but this too did not bring him closer to the goal.

The couriers also visited people who are directly or indirectly associated with Musk. In particular, they twice contacted Siobhan Zilis, the director of special projects at a company owned by the businessman, with whom he had an affair several years ago. Despite having two children together, the staff at the Zilis home stated that they had not seen Musk.

As a result, the couriers left court documents with the security services of Space X, Tesla and X. According to the law, the businessman must confirm receipt of them by November 29.
