US billionaire feud over ‘twin’ apps reaches new heights
American businessman, owner of Twitter, Elon Musk, accused Mark Zuckerberg of plagiarism and noted that disagreements in the ways of doing business have become personal. He wrote about this on his page in the social network.
On July 6, the Meta Corporation (recognized as an extremist organization and banned in the Russian Federation), which is owned by Zuckerberg, launched the Threads application. The new text messaging service is designed to win back some users from Twitter. In less than a day, about 30 million people unregistered in the new social network.
This angered Elon Musk. He stated that he spent 44 billion on the Twitter app. And the “snake” (as he called Zuckerberg) simply copied him.
Musk has confirmed that his challenge to Zuckerberg is still on. “See you in the cage,” he added.
