Electronic record books and statements have been created for students in new regions

Universities in the LPR, DPR, Kherson and Zaporozhye regions began to connect to the electronic educational platform developed by Rostelecom. This is a cloud-based solution through which students can view the schedule, check electronic records, edit documents together and listen to video lectures. This is stated in the newsletter sent by the operator to universities in new regions of Russia at the end of October. Vedomosti got acquainted with the contents of the letter, the implementation of the project was confirmed by two interlocutors in local educational institutions.

“Your university is implementing a project of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation to implement a standard cloud solution for an educational organization (TOR),” the letter states. Since October 16, TOP has introduced a user portal with a schedule, an electronic record book, a portfolio generation subsystem, as well as a “cloud office with the ability to jointly edit documents, tables and presentations,” systems for video lectures, seminars and other online events, it follows from the document.

Next, recipients are asked to follow the provided link, select a university and receive an account. The link leads to a portal where it is indicated that the project is being implemented by Rostelecom.
