According to the results of the elections, more than 31,000 deputy mandates and elective positions will be replaced on a single voting day. In particular, the heads of 14 regions, deputies of six regional legislative assemblies and 12 parliaments of the administrative centers (capitals) of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation were elected.
As of 20:00 Moscow time on September 10, the highest turnout in the gubernatorial elections was recorded in the Tambov region.
According to preliminary data published on website The Central Executive Committee, in all regions where leaders were elected, the incumbent governors or acting governors won. In Adygeya, where instead of direct elections voting is held in parliament, the candidacy of the current head of the republic, Murat Kumpilov, has been approved.

In elections to legislative assemblies of six regions on party lists, United Russia, according to preliminary data, won the most votes in the Penza Region and the Krasnodar Territory (more than 70%). The Communist Party showed the second result in five of the six regions. The NWRP did not overcome the 5% barrier in the Penza region, and the Liberal Democratic Party failed to overcome it in North Ossetia. The results for single-mandate members will be later.
In 5 of the 12 capitals of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation, in which city parliament elections were held, voting on party lists was not carried out, only single-mandate members were elected. “United Russia” showed the best result in Kyzyl, the worst – in the Kirov region. According to preliminary data, the Civic Platform party overcame the five percent barrier in Cherkessk, and the Yabloko party in Pskov.
Final turnout at the municipal elections in Moscow amounted to 33.9%.
