Eight pensioners will represent Karelia at the Spartakiad of Russian pensioners

From September 26 to September 29, the federal stage of the VII Spartakiad of Russian pensioners will be held in Togliatti. The Ministry of Education and Sports of Karelia reported that 8 people will represent our republic at these competitions.
On Thursday, September 22, the Karelian team has already been given a uniform. Athletes-amateurs will fight for victory both in personal and team events. They will test their strength in athletics, swimming, chess, table tennis and even shooting. Participants will also have the opportunity to pass the TRP standards.
The Spartakiad is part of the federal project “Sport is the norm of life” of the national project “Demography”.
