Mikhail Efremov is waiting for the approval of the widow and son of the deceased driver to try to get out on parole

Actor Mikhail Efremov, serving a sentence in a colony, hopes for forgiveness from the relatives of courier driver Sergei Zakharov, who died in an accident, while the artist’s close friends are helping him achieve parole. This is reported by website KP.RU.

It is noted that this week close friends of Efremov are communicating with the youngest son and the widow of the deceased driver, who turned to the family so that, in the event of a positive response to the actor’s petition for parole, they would receive written support from the injured party at the court hearing for his early release. The artist’s colleagues said that they will provide an answer to Efremov’s wife when they receive it from the Zakharovs.

Efremov’s friends indicated that last year, on a date with his wife, the actor decided to ask for a commutation of his sentence as soon as possible. He paid full compensation in the amount of over 4.4 million rubles to the family of the deceased, and Efremov is also trying to establish communication with the driver’s widow and his son, to whom he writes “letters of repentance.” The publication added that the artist sincerely asks his family for forgiveness and hopes for their mercy.
