Efimov: integrated development of the former industrial zone “Sviblovo” will be carried out by the city operator

The site of the Sviblovo industrial zone, with an area of ​​23.45 hectares, is being reorganized. This will be done by KP “Integrated Development of Territories”. The decision to redevelop the inefficiently used territory in the Babushkinsky District was made by Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin, said Vladimir Yefimov, Deputy Moscow Mayor for Economic Policy and Property and Land Relations.

“Thanks to the implementation of the project in the North-East Administrative District, the budget of the capital will receive 583.6 million rubles annually,” Yefimov added.

24.6 billion rubles will be invested in the complex development of the site. After the construction of social and public-business facilities, about 1.5 thousand people will be able to find work here.

In the meantime, on the site of the former industrial zone, there are mainly garages, warehouses, car washes and maintenance services. Land owners will receive compensation equal to the market value of the plots and structures located on them.

As Maxim Gaman, head of the Moscow City Property Department, said, modern housing will be built on the site of the industrial zone in the Babushkinsky district. It is planned that its total area will be 187 thousand square meters. For the balanced development of the future district, social facilities will also be built: a kindergarten, a school and a sports and recreation complex with a games room and a swimming pool. In addition, shops, cafes, creative studios and banks will appear there. Public and business facilities will occupy an area of ​​79,000 square meters.
