“The area of the territory subject to complex development in the Ostankino district is 9 hectares. The site is located between the tracks of the Leningrad direction of the Moscow railway, Novomoskovsk and Sheremetyevskaya streets. Investments in the reorganization of the former industrial zone will reach almost 13 billion rubles, thanks to the implementation of the project, about 900 new jobs will appear in the city,” said Vladimir Yefimov, Deputy Moscow Mayor for Economic Policy and Property and Land Relations.
At the moment, the site is used inefficiently, it mainly houses car services, garages and warehouses. After the reorganization, it is planned to build 88,000 square meters of housing on the territory. In addition to new houses, more than 26,000 square meters of public, business and social facilities will appear there.
“In addition, a kindergarten for 180 children will be built here, as well as a sports complex with a total area of more than 8.5 thousand square meters. In addition, new office buildings, convenience stores and cafes may appear in the Ostankino district,” said Maxim Gaman, Head of the City Property Department of the capital.
