Edmonton Flames forward McDavid wins Hart Trophy

The press service of the National Hockey League reported that Edmonton Oilers forward Connor McDavid became the owner of the Hart Trophy. This award is presented to the most valuable hockey player of the past season.
It is specified that the Canadian striker won this award for the third time in his career. In addition to him, two more forwards claimed the Hart Trophy – Matthew Tkachuk from the Florida Panthers and David Pastrnak from the Boston Bruins.
Last season, McDavid scored 153 points (64+89) in 82 games. Thus, he became the first NHL player in 28 years since Mario Lemieux to score more than 150 points in a season.
