Animal rights activist demands satisfaction of claim for protection of honor and dignity
A lawsuit for the protection of honor and dignity against the director of the circus on Vernadsky Avenue, the famous trainer Edgard Zapashny, was filed in the Gagarinsky Court of the capital.
As MK learned, the claim was filed by animal rights activist Yuri Koretskikh. The reason for the claim was Zapashny’s publication in his Telegram channel, where the artist and leader suggested that Koretskikh was involved in the Ukrainian nationalist organization “Right Sector” (recognized as terrorist in the Russian Federation and banned). The plaintiff ordered a linguistic examination to prove his case.
Let us note that Zapashny and Koretskikh have also repeatedly clashed over the issue of cruelty to animals in circuses.
