Eco-activists were not allowed to stick to Munch’s painting

TV channel NRK reported that eco-activists from the movement Stopp Oljeletinga! (“Stop oil exploration!”) made an unsuccessful attempt to stick to the frame of Edvard Munch’s famous painting “The Scream”.
Their intention was thwarted by the police, who defended the canvas exhibited at the National Museum of Norway.
The day before it was reported about an attempt to combat hydrocarbon production undertaken by another environmental group in Vienna. There, in the Museum of Natural History, activists quite successfully glued themselves to a pedestal on which a dinosaur skeleton is placed. However, even there the police quickly freed the exhibit from the “greens” stuck to it.
