Promotions are reportedly due to begin on July 17 at rush hour and are scheduled to continue until Saturday. The activists plan to interfere with traffic, and their goal is to force the authorities to refuse to issue new licenses for domestic oil and gas production. Law enforcement officials in Britain promised a prompt response.
Earlier it was reported that in Germany, environmental activists began blocking roads in 26 cities. The action is carried out by the “Last Generation” (Letzte Generation) movement. As part of anti-government actions, activists intend to impede the movement of vehicles and promise to do this “throughout Germany.” The blocking of the country’s main roads began in Berlin, the action started at 8 am local time.
