ECG rating of responsible business presented at SPIEF – Kommersant

On June 16, SPIEF hosted the session “About those who look to the future: presentation of the ECG rating of responsible business (EPS rating)”. The rating provides a comprehensive assessment of companies aimed at determining the level of their reliability, social and environmental responsibility.
ECG is an abbreviation for “ecology, personnel, state.” The key difference between the concept and the rating on the implementation of ESG principles is a more pronounced emphasis on the social responsibility of companies. Rating participants go through two stages of evaluation – based on the results of scoring, which takes into account information from public sources, and on the basis of a survey aimed at identifying special support measures and programs implemented within the company.
The event was moderated by Nikita Anisimov, Rector of the Higher School of Economics. Among the participants of the session were the Head of the Federal Tax Service of Russia Daniil Egorov, Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy to the Central Federal District Igor Shchegolev, President of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs Alexander Shokhin, Rector of the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation Stanislav Prokofiev and Governor of the Vladimir Region Alexander Avdeev, Auditor of the Accounts Chamber Dmitry Zaitsev.
