Dzerzhinsky “Chemist”, playing in the Second League, will start the spring part of the season with a match against the team “Yadro” from St. Petersburg.
The team from Dzerzhinsk, following the results of the autumn part of the season, could not break into the top twelve teams of group No. 2 of the Second League and will not be able to compete for promotion. Sergei Perednya’s wards will play ten matches, eight of which will meet with teams from St. Petersburg, where it will be decided which team will become the main loser of group No. 2 and will be forced to leave professional football on a sporting basis.
In the first match of the spring part of the championship, Khimik will play on the road against the Yadro team from St. Petersburg. “Nuclear players” spend only their first season in the Second League and it is not surprising that they could not break into the quartet of the strongest.
Before the restart of the championship, the Core is in eighth place, while Khimik has three points more and is in sixth position.
The match between Khimik Dzerzhinsky and the Yadro team from St. Petersburg will take place on April 2 at the Nova Arena stadium. The starting whistle is scheduled for 13:30.
