Dynamo is opening a window to Europe through Serbia – Kommersant

Dynamo Moscow and the Serbian football club OFK Belgrade entered into a memorandum of cooperation. His signing took place today, March 21, at the “BetBoom House of Dynamo” in GUM in the presence of fans who took part in joint, “fraternal” trips of the teams.
The memorandum addresses the following issues:
- interaction between the main teams, including the possible holding of friendly matches and joint participation in international tournaments;
- exchange of experience between coaches in the field of organizing the educational and training process, as well as between employees in the fields of marketing and commercial activities, medicine, recovery and rehabilitation, nutrition for sports teams, organizing security during competitions, and so on;
- cooperation at the level of children’s and youth football and club academies, including possible participation in children’s international football tournaments.
“We began to interact with OFK not by chance: for more than 15 years our clubs have been twin cities, and a real, strong friendship has been established between the fans,” said Dynamo General Director Pavel Pivovarov. “The memorandum will strengthen and expand the friendly relations between Dynamo ” and OFK, and also to show that even in modern times, mutually beneficial cooperation between Russian teams and European teams is quite possible. I won’t reveal all the secrets just yet, but I think this summer you will see the first serious and very interesting results for the audience. “I would like to separately note that our memorandum concerns not only the main teams, but also academies, youth football and tournaments.”
“I am glad to be here in Moscow with our friends from Dynamo at a time when relations between Serbia and Russia are better than ever,” said OFK Executive Vice President Kostadin Terzic. “It is a great honor to sign the memorandum of cooperation for me. It’s nice that through sports and football we are strengthening the historical friendship and ties between our fraternal nations. OFK fans in Belgrade and Dynamo fans in Moscow can expect our relations to develop in the near future, and we will work every day to develop them.”
After the signing, the heads of the two clubs exchanged souvenirs and went to watch the Russia-Serbia match at the VTB Arena. The OFK Belgrade club was created in 1911 and is one of the most titled in Serbia. OFK is now the leader in the first Serbian league and is likely to achieve promotion.
