Dynamo beat CSKA in a fiery match

The best figure skater of the country, Evgenia Medvedeva, and Olympic champion Viktor Losev made a symbolic kick at the ball in the next (last in the calendar year) Moscow derby. Twenty-five thousand spectators witnessed high-speed football with vivid emotions, three goals, two penalties and one reflected penalty.

RPL. 17th round. Lev Yashin Stadium. Dynamo 2:1 CSKA. Goals: Skopintsev – 40′, Ngamale – 63′, Oblyakov – 65′.

The fraternal derby, that’s what the fans of both clubs call it, gave an amazing game in which both teams wanted to please their fans, especially after the defeats in the previous round that happened simultaneously at Dynamo and CSKA.

The first minutes were a little disappointing, the ball moved slowly, and never appeared in the penalty area at all. CSKA had the first real moment – in the 37th minute, Mendez smartly “hid” the round from the hosts’ defenders and rolled out perfectly to Carrascal. But at the gates of Dynamo there is a follower of Yashin, so Shunin did it. And after a couple of minutes, the blue and white showed how to complete the attack. Fomin (who received the Gentleman of the Year Cup before the match) gave a cool pass to Skopintsev, who outplayed Akinfeev. At the last minute of the first half, the army team had the opportunity to level the score, but Shunin came to the rescue again, not allowing Chalov to send a football projectile into his net.

With the beginning of the second half, the very “fire” that was mentioned in the title began. The speeds became almost reactive, the rivals practiced the ability to “prick” each other, and the ball flew like a wound from one penalty area to another. The culmination came in the 60th minute, when Ushakov made a dangerous shot from Oblyakov’s pass. And then the old football rule worked: “if you don’t score, they score for you!” Dynamo player Dasa mathematically correctly drew a canopy at the far post, Ngamalyo avoided offside and beautifully sent a leather sphere into the net of Akinfeev’s goal with his head. Less than a minute later, CSKA responded with its “holic”. The best army player of CSKA, Ivan Oblyakov, distinguished himself.

And then came the deletions. And again, like goals, in both teams. Reactive substitute Tyukavin earned a penalty in the 79th minute. At the same time, Oblyakov received a second yellow card for a foul on him in the penalty area. Fomin, as expected, approached the penalty spot, having received the “Gentleman of the Year” tuxedo a couple of days ago. But something went wrong, or rather – someone. And specifically Igor Akinfeev, who in a breathtaking jump took out a football globe in the right corner. Fomin again (as in the Cup final) did not score a penalty. Twice in a row, no longer an accident.

And a few minutes later, the blue and white also lost Gladyshev, who received a ridiculous second yellow for throwing the ball away. In the end, CSKA began to play two big forwards (Gaich and Zabolotny), put pressure on the opponent’s penalty area, but the guests had no real chances. And Dynamo managed to go into the winter as a winner.

“Moises told me in the 37th minute that our insiders should pick up balls more,” Vladimir Fedotov answered my question about what exactly the CSKA defender wanted from him in the 37th minute.

“It is clear that there is something to strengthen, there are questions, say, on the bench. The loss of any, say, Diveev or Nababkin, who missed, Shchennikov was gone for a long time. We have room to improve. We need a longer bench, we lost Diveev, and this is noticeable, ”this is how the CSKA helmsman answered a question about winter transfers.

– At the 70th minute Dmitry Skopintsev approached you. What did you discuss?

– The osprey asked me to turn to Moomin, who was supposed to help him more in defense.

– Ahead of the winter break. As a head coach, which positions would you like to strengthen?

– The winter break refers to the championship, we have two more cup games. We have not yet discussed possible transfers. Now our task is to develop those players that we have, but the issue of effort is relevant, we will return to it later. We have a fairly young team that already shows quality football. Of course, any club is looking for ways to strengthen the squad. Now we have to focus on the players that we have, continue to develop and take them to the next level.

The championship goes on a winter break and will return only on March 5th. Before the New Year, the RPL teams still have to play two rounds of the Russian Cup from November 16 to 27.
