Pavel: Telegram has reached 900 million users per month

Telegram founder Pavel Durov said that the messenger’s monthly audience has reached 900 million users. Half of them, he said, open the app every day.

With reference to DataAI, Durov said that Telegram is the 6th most frequently used and 6th most downloaded application in the world.

According to Durov, when developing the project, the creators believed that an intelligent person would always choose “the freedom and quality of Telegram over the limitations and mediocrity of outdated applications.”
