The shelling of the Belgorod region has intensified in recent days. Gladkov announced the evacuation of children from the Shebekinsky and Grayvoronsky districts. On May 31, the first 300 children left for Voronezh. On June 1, Gladkov suggested that in the event of an “urgent evacuation” of residents, armored vehicles should be used. Due to the ongoing attacks, the school year ended ahead of schedule, and exams for 9th and 11th grades were also canceled. On June 2, the regional government suspended the movement of suburban trains.
June 3, during the shelling of the Shebekinsky urban district died two women, three more people died on June 2 as a result of the shelling of Sobolevka, Gladkov wrote.
In the Belgorod region, the “yellow” level of terrorist danger is indefinitely valid. Also, from October 19, 2022, by decree of the President of the Russian Federation, a regime of “medium response” was introduced in the region.
