During the autumn holidays, residents of Stupino are invited to take part in orienteering competitions in Ostrovsky Park. School and family teams of the district are invited to participate in rogaining competitions, reports the press service of the administration of the Stupino urban district.
Rogaining is a relatively new sport that combines strategy and tactics, navigation over rough terrain, and also involves erudition, creativity and physical endurance of the participants, the source reports.
To participate in the event, the organizers invite potential athletes to install the Orienteering mobile application on the Android platform and register until November 17 inclusive. Rogainers will receive a map diagram for completing tasks before the start.
