German edition Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung published his scenario for the development of events if a power outage occurs in any of the regions of Germany.
According to the authors of the publication, during the first 96 hours there will be over 400 dead. A possible variant was predicted in the area of Rheingau-Taunus. There, after a power outage, in two hours most of the fire and burglar alarms will fail. After eight hours, the means of communication of the emergency services will stop working.
In a day, the first treatment facilities will stop working. Four days later, fires and looting will begin, with an estimated total damage of about 200 million euros. Among other things, phones, the Internet and digital radio will stop working.
