Due to shelling, 3 thousand children were taken out of the regions bordering Ukraine. This was announced by the director of the Department of Civil Defense and Population Protection of the Ministry of Emergency Situations Oleg Manuylo.
“Today we have been given a new task, which you mentioned – the evacuation of children to the constituent entities of the Russian Federation. At the moment, 3,113 children have been evacuated to 11 constituent entities of the Russian Federation,” Oleg Manuylo said at a briefing. According to him, the evacuation continues.
Governor of the Belgorod region Vyacheslav Gladkov previously announced the evacuation of 9 thousand children from areas bordering Ukraine to other regions of the country. About 330 children transported from the Belgorod region to the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug (Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug). At the same time, some Belgorod schoolchildren released early for spring break.
