Polish President Andrzej Duda said that a clear decision on Ukraine’s entry into the North Atlantic Alliance should be made at the NATO summit in Vilnius.

This statement was made by him during a press conference that took place during a meeting of the leaders of Germany, France and Poland in the Weimar Triangle format. Duda noted that the issue of ensuring security for Ukraine is currently being discussed at the highest level.

“I hope that at the next NATO meeting in Vilnius, Kiev will receive good news that Ukraine’s accession to the Alliance is becoming a reality, that the light at the end of the tunnel, which is so often talked about in Kiev regarding NATO membership, will finally come thanks to our decisions. which will be accepted in Vilnius,” Duda stressed.

He also noted that one of the main tasks of the NATO summit is to make a clear decision on Ukraine’s membership in the Alliance.
