Missing teenagers in the mountains of the Kemerovo region will be searched using unmanned aerial vehicles. Ten rescuers of the Mezhdurechensk search and rescue team and police officers are taking part in the search operation. How reported in the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the region, the situation is complicated by the mountainous nature of the terrain.
The message about the missing children was received on June 28 by the duty unit of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs for Mezhdurechensk. According to the department, three teenagers – 13-year-old Alexei Evseev, 14-year-old Vyacheslav Koryagin and 15-year-old Danil Vagin – went ahead of the group when descending from Podnebesny peak, but did not appear at their destination.
“Four groups have been formed: one is examining the trail to the Sobolinoye shelter, the second is the territory from the Maly Kazyr River to the Vysokogorny shelter, the third group is the slopes of Podnebesny peak, the fourth is examining the Amzas village, crossings and the road to the Amzas river,” said the Kemerovo Region Ministry of Internal Affairs .
According to rescuers, there is no cellular communication in this area.
