The Governor of the Stavropol Territory, Vladimir Vladimirov, “in accordance with presidential decree No. 757 dated October 19, 2022, signed a resolution imposing a ban on the use of unmanned aerial vehicles in the region.” It appeared on the legal information portal today, March 28, and is considered to have entered into force from that date (.pdf). The ban will remain in effect until further notice.
According to the decree, “unmanned civil aircraft flights are prohibited in the airspace over the territory of the Stavropol Territory”. An exception is made for unmanned civil aircraft that are used by public authorities at all levels and their subordinate institutions, as well as organizations that work under contracts with authorities.
According to the decree, owners of civil drones are ordered to “ensure compliance with the rules of state registration of unmanned civil aircraft with a maximum take-off weight of 150 grams to 30 kilograms imported into Russia or manufactured in the Russian Federation.”
