The governor of the Voronezh region, Alexander Gusev, at a meeting of the operational headquarters on the special operation today, January 20, decided to ban the personal and commercial use of drones in the region, the press service of the regional government reported.
The launch of drones will be allowed only to law enforcement agencies, individual authorities, and businesses – according to “individual permits.” “At a number of business structures, some of the processes are geared towards the use of drones. We will accept requests to use drones for peaceful purposes. If they are justified, we will issue a permit,” the governor explained.
In general, according to him, despite the “proximity” of the Voronezh region to the special operation zone, the region managed to “prevent major provocations.”
The day before in the Voronezh region occurred unusual accident involving a quadrocopter. On the 506th kilometer of the M4 Don highway in Voronezh, a drone crashed into the windshield of a Volvo truck driven by a 35-year-old resident of the Volgograd region. As told in the regional department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the apparatus belonging to a private person, according to preliminary data, was discharged. There were no injuries, the car received mechanical damage.
