You can and should kill spring viruses at home

With the arrival of spring, I want to quickly take off all the boring down jackets, but this is where the main danger of the off-season lies. March is still very unstable in terms of temperature. And the warmth may be replaced by sharp winter cold. In addition, in warmth, viruses multiply more actively, and the human body, exhausted by snow, winds and short daylight hours, can no longer fully protect itself from them. MK found out from therapist Anna Zotova how to get rid of viral infections in advance and avoid sick leave in the spring.

“Primitive gargling and toilet procedures for the nose twice a day help to mechanically remove viruses and bacteria that have entered with the inhaled air,” Anna Zotova calls a mandatory preventive procedure for spring. — You can rinse with saline solution (1 teaspoon of salt per 250 ml of water) and chamomile decoction.

To protect the nasal mucosa, the doctor also recommends taking note of the following recipe: finely chop 3-4 cloves of garlic and 1/4 of an onion and pour in cooled boiled oil. The mixture is infused for 2 hours, filtered and inhaled.

Inhalation with eucalyptus for 2-3 minutes (30-40 drops of eucalyptus tincture per 300 ml of hot water) also kills viruses. For inhalation, you can use essential oils of fir, pine, juniper, and wormwood.

An aroma lamp helps well for the same purpose, especially after kindergarten, school and work. At home, it is convenient to use a salt lamp (with rock or sea salt), which increases the protection of the mucous membranes of the respiratory system, even if these lamps are just used in an apartment or house.

But the most original way to fight viruses, which the doctor advises drink only structured water. She’s the most helpful. What does it mean? This means that it was frozen and then thawed again.

“This procedure will purify the water not only from harmful impurities – “heavy water” (instead of two hydrogen atoms it contains two deuterium atoms), but also from various dissolved salts – the so-called brine,” says Zotova.

How to prepare it correctly?

Step one. We pour tap water into a container and place it in the freezer or on the balcony in winter.

Step two. Heavy water (approximately 150 mg per liter) turns into ice at +3.8 ° C, that is, when artificially frozen in a refrigerator, it freezes first, forming thin openwork plates throughout the entire volume of the vessel and “depositing” in the form of ice at its bottom and walls. Therefore, after two to four hours, you need to pour the unfrozen water into another container, remove the formed ice, return the liquid back to the container and put it in the refrigerator again.

Step three. The so-called water brine, on the contrary, freezes last due to the increased salt concentration. When, in about a day or less (it all depends on the volume of liquid to be frozen, the power of the freezer, etc.), almost all the water turns into ice, unfrozen liquid will remain in the center under its edge – this is brine. Drain it by making a hole in the edge. (For fun, you can drain the brine into a transparent container and see what you saved yourself from.)

If all the water is already frozen, you can melt the central “brine” ice under the pressure of hot water. And drain it. Then let the ice melt “on its own” – and drink to your health. Melt water retains its ordered structure, that is, its maximum usefulness, for about six hours, and then it becomes just pure water.
