Dozhd received a license to broadcast in the Netherlands

The authorities of the Netherlands have given the Dozhd TV channel (a foreign media agent) a license for commercial broadcasting for a period of five years. As the editor-in-chief of the TV channel Tikhon Dzyadko explained, TVR Studios BV will broadcast under the Dozhd brand.
Earlier, the government of Latvia canceled the license to broadcast in the country of Dozhd, because it was found that the channel “poses a threat to state security and public order.”
On the territory of the Russian Federation, Dozhd has been blocked since March 2022 at the request of the Prosecutor General’s Office.
