The operational headquarters of the Krasnodar Territory reported on Sunday that 2 ferries transported about 280 passengers and 240 cars through the Kerch ferry in a day, Interfax reports.
On the morning of March 26, there were more than 60 cars in the parking lot in the village of Ilyich.
Volunteers are reportedly on site, issuing passes for loading on ferries to truck drivers carrying groceries and essentials.
In the Kuban, restrictions and rules for the passage of trucks to the Kerch ferry crossing continue to apply, the agency notes.
Only vehicles loaded with groceries and essential goods can cross the Krasnodar Territory and cross to the Crimea by ferry.
