DOXA editor Menshikova charged with justifying terrorism
The editor of DOXA (recognized as a foreign media agent) Maria Menshikova has been prosecuted to justify terrorism. This is reported R.T.
The investigation believes that Menshikova was the author of a post on the publication’s page on VKontakte, which contained a call to support those accused of setting fire to military registration and enlistment offices. A criminal case was initiated against her under Part 2 of Article 205.2 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (public calls for terrorist activities, public justification of terrorism or propaganda of terrorism).
The investigation conducted an examination, which considered that the publication contains an endorsement of terrorist activities. The maximum punishment that threatens under this article is 7 years in prison.
Menshikov is currently in Germany.
